Rebecca Finklea, CPM, LM
Rebecca has been catching babies as a licensed midwife since 2001. She was born and raised in St. Petersburg, and, as the eldest of five children, always had a baby in her arms. She followed a long time calling to midwifery when she graduated with academic honors from the AS Midwifery program at Miami Dade College. She is mother to three children – two of whom were born at home. She hopes that the midwifery model of care becomes the gold standard for maternity care in the United States.
Lucie J. Bryant LC, CBE
Lucie is currently enrolled at the Florida School of Traditional Midwifery in Gainesville, Florida. She has satisfied all academics and is currently completing her clinical hours to qualify to sit for the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM) exam and becoming a Certified Professional Midwife and Licensed Midwife in Florida. She became passionate about birth in 1993 after the birth of her second daughter. She had a beautiful VBAC at home. She is now blessed with eight beautiful children – six of them born at home. Over the course of motherhood she has had the privilege of advocating for women in many roles as a doula, childbirth educator, and lactation counselor.
Terri Leigh Buck, MA, CHNP
Terri has a MA in Holistic Natural Health & Nutrition and is a Certified Holistic Nutrition Practitioner. Her passion for natural health began in a quest for answers to her own physical struggles and the physical, mood and learning difficulties of one of her children. She is dedicated to teaching women the basics of prenatal nutrition, how to choose the right supplements, and how to purchase and plan whole food meals for a family on a tight budget. Terri is a mother of four – her youngest born at home.
Hannah worked as a technician in an Equine hospital which includes assisting in the birth of horses. She loves the beauty of birth, because she was beautiful result of a home birth. She is furthering her education in the medical field, because she has a heart for helping people. Additionally, she has 3 years of American Sign Language education.
